Sysco Corporation

Kevin Hourican is President and Chief Executive Officer of Sysco Corporation, the global leader in selling, marketing and distributing food products to restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, lodging establishments and other customers who prepare meals away from home. Sysco’s family of products also includes equipment and supplies for the foodservice and hospitality industries.

Joining Sysco in February 2020, Kevin has been leading Sysco’s large-scale, customer-focused and growth-related transformation, aimed at improving the way Sysco supports its customers and accelerating profitable sales growth. Sysco’s Recipe for Growth transformational strategy is a five-pillar approach that addresses opportunities in all areas of Sysco’s business, including digital technology enhancements, growing Sysco’s specialty offerings and world-class supply chain optimization.

Under Kevin’s leadership, Sysco launched its first-ever Purpose statement, connecting the world to share food and care for one another, and focused on the growth of key strategic culture initiatives like DEI and Sustainability. He is leading the vision to electrify Sysco’s fleet of trucks and champions volunteerism and giving back to the communities where Sysco serves by personally participating in Sysco’s Global Good Goal. This work helped catapult Sysco onto celebrated lists such as Forbes America’s Best Employers List.

Prior to Sysco, Kevin spent more than seven years at CVS Health, most recently as executive vice president, CVS Health, and president, CVS Pharmacy, overseeing the company’s $85 billion retail business. Kevin also served in executive leadership roles at Macy’s within supply chain and retail store management.

Kevin holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, both from The Pennsylvania State University. He serves as a member of the Business Round Table and the Wall Street Journal CEO council. Kevin actively participates in the World Economic Forum’s CEO Alliance for climate change. Outside of work, Kevin is actively engaged in volunteering at Kids’ Meals, a Houston based organization focused upon food insecurity for low-income youth. Additionally, Kevin has served on the board of the Alzheimer's Association. In 2019, he personally led a fundraising effort that raised over $5 million for the association.
