Allen W. Ritchie

Allen W. Ritchie is President and Chief Executive Officer of Altec, Inc., a privately held company headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama that designs, manufactures, and services mission-critical equipment for the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, and infrastructure contractor markets. Altec supports customers across North America and select international markets through a comprehensive portfolio of products and lifecycle services that enable the safe, reliable delivery of essential infrastructure.

Prior to joining Altec in 2007, Allen held senior leadership roles across a range of public and private companies, including serving as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. His experience spans manufacturing and distribution, financial services, and technology-enabled businesses, with a consistent focus on disciplined growth, operational performance, and long-term value creation.

Allen is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he earned a degree in accounting. He and his wife, Mimi, reside in Birmingham and have three children and nine grandchildren.
